Academic Advising is here to support you through your academic career at St. Thomas University. Whether you need help figuring out which courses you need to take to meet the requirements of your major or you’re looking for advice on post-degree programs that fit your academic interests, Alison Belyea and Kelly Hogg are here to help.

There is a Degree Audit Checklist that all 3rd and 4th year students must complete prior to having an academic advising appointment. Degree Audit Checklists can be found under Forms
Appointments are best, but if you need immediate attention please come see us right away. We’re located on the first floor of George Martin Hall in the Registrar's Office. Do you have a quick question that doesn’t require a meeting? You can chat with us between 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday) at: advising@stu.ca or write to us anytime at our ÐßÐßÊÓƵ e-mail addresses. If we don’t have the answer, we’ll find someone who does.

Academic Calendar
The Academic Calendar is your guide to academics at the university—from admissions information, degree, minor, and honours requirements, policies, regulations, and more. The calendar is released annually. It is important to note that you must follow the version released the year that you started at St. Thomas. Previous versions of the calendar are available on the Academic Calendar page.
Meeting Degree Requirements
To ensure you are on track to meet the requirements of your Bachelor of Arts, please refer to the Bachelor of Arts Academic Requirements.
As you choose your major(s)/honours program and begin to register for your final years of courses, it will be important to keep this Degree Audit Checklist to ensure you have not missed any requirements for graduation.

Academic Transcripts
Your transcript summarizes your academic history at St. Thomas. You can access an unofficial transcript through for your own records. If you require an official transcript—for applying to graduate school or for other purposes—you can request one .
Transfer Students
If you are coming to St. Thomas from another university, be sure to review the Transfer Student section of our website. will likewise be an important resource for you.
Exchange Students
If you are attending St. Thomas as an exchange student, contact Alison Belyea, Academic Advisor, (belyea@stu.ca) who works closely with the International Student Advisor to ensure you are meeting requirements of your home university through the selection of approved courses.
